Club Showcase a success

The first Reynolds Club Showcase was hosted on Friday, May 5 from 6-8 PM in the RHS Multipurpose Room. A chance for clubs to showcase what they accomplished during the 2016-2017 year, 20 out of the 32 after school clubs at RHS participated in this event according to ASB Commissioner of Arts and Culture Jasmine Teeny.


“The Club Showcase was a night dedicated to showing family and friends the amazing activities/events each club has done over this past school year,” said Teeny.

Raider Rumble ready to roll

The Raider Rumble will be taking place this Friday, May 19 from 12-3. This year, activities will include a giant tricycle race, tie-dye, henna, a hungry hippo inflatable, a petting zoo, a talent show, volleyball, basketball, and soccer tournaments and many more. The carnival ride will be “The Tornado” and food options will include the Chicken Sundae Truck, the Taco Truck, Elephant Ears, J Gelati, Jamba Juice, Voodoo Doughnuts, Black Rock, Fruit stand, and the Raider Grill.

Arts Scholarships

We have two arts scholarships, the $1500 Heath Anderson Fine Arts Scholarship, and the $300 Reynolds Arts Leader Scholarship. Perhaps there is room or time for the newsletter? * Prom tickets are being sold during both lunches- $25 with ASB, $28 without, or $30 at the door.

* Do you know another language? Take the SLIP language test on April 13th to earn up to 4 credits. Pick up a flyer in the Main & Counseling offices today! Deadline to pay is April 6th.

* If you are interested in Middle College there will be an information session in the MPR March 22nd during 2nd period.

Raider Rambler seeks writers, photographers, designers

The Raider Rambler online student newspaper is seeking additional writers, web designers, videographers and photographers for its staff. Students who love to write, talk to people, and want to get more involved with their school should attend the next Raider Rambler club meeting on Monday, April 10 at 3:20 p.m. in A-13. Students who are unable to attend but are still interested, should contact Alice Hutchinson, club adviser, in A13 or at Students can also contact the editors, Abbey Nickerson, junior and Sara Crouch, senior.
